Drive the Blues Away: Bootleggers Blowout - SOLD OUT

This event is no longer on sale.

Friday February 22

8:00 PM  –  11:00 PM

Let’s party like it’s 1929! Calling on all rum runners, moonshiners and bootleggers! For one night only, prohibition in Tacoma is to be formally re-ratified in an evening of hush-hush drinking and costumed-cavorting at America’s Car Museum.

Obsessively prepared, passionately executed and prohibition inspired, Tacoma’s best chefs will be preparing bites of what Prohibition food means to each of them. We are excited to partner with Dirty Oscar's Annex, Cooks Tavern, Southern Kitchen, Original House of Donuts and Hello, Cupcake.

From sidecars to South Sound fizzes, we celebrate the past, the progression and the craftsmanship of culture surrounding hooch and its evolution to the beer, wine and cocktails of today. Tastings at the event will feature libations from Heritage Distilling, Copperworks Distilling, Temple Distilling Co., Glass Vodka, Elysian Brewing, Narrows Brewing, Gig Harbor Brewing, Pacific Brewing, Hedges Family Estate and a collaboration between Jim Beam and Budweiser!

Seattle six piece Good Co. is the United States' first live Electro Swing Band. That new old sound, Electro Swing combines the era of illicit booze, jitterbugging flappers and underground speakeasies with the funky beats and the electric sound of today's dance music. Who better to end the night other than Whiskey River, the #1 Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band. For nearly four decades, Whiskey River’s musicians have thrilled audiences all over America playing the music of the legendary southern-rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Other things to expect: Montecristo Cigar Lounge, gaming tables, Group 6ix screen printing and more! Dress: Anything from Speakeasy Chic to Backwoods Bootlegger!
